Considering how spiritual practices, such as prayer, Scripture, or involvement in a faith community, may support your wellbeing.
Exploring how faith may provide meaning, hope, and perspective in the midst of challenges.
Encouraging connection with pastoral or spiritual supports where appropriate and desired.
Respecting your personal boundaries and convictions regarding sexual practices.
Supporting you to live in a way that is congruent with your faith, values, and goals.
Recognising the diversity of Christian beliefs, I will never tell you what you should believe or how you should behave as a Christian. Rather, I seek to understand your personal beliefs and values with curiosity, empathy, openness, and respect.
A Christian perspective in counselling is not about receiving a theology lesson. Instead, it involves creating space for conversations about faith and drawing upon your faith as a potential source of strength, meaning, and support.
